Installation & Compatibility Guides

RiotLite Installation & Compatibility

RiotLite is a retrofit forced-entry mitigation system installed on the interior surface of existing glass. It uses engineered multi-layer laminate technology to absorb impact, retain shattered glass, and delay intrusion—without replacing glazing or modifying the façade. Installation is fast and low disruption, often completed in phases or after hours to keep facilities operational. Precision installation is critical: RiotLite specifications require a uniform 1/16″ edge setback, and CNC pre-cutting is recommended to ensure clean edges, consistent corner geometry, and repeatable performance. Edge integrity is where forced-entry systems succeed or fail, directly affecting adhesion, tear resistance, and time-to-breach performance under ASTM F3561 conditions.

An independently tested forced-entry security window film system designed to delay intrusion after impact, meeting ASTM F3561 Level 3 performance standards.

RiotLite Retrofit Security for All Glass Types

RiotLite is compatible with single-pane tempered glass, storefront glazing, curtain wall systems (evaluation recommended), and glass doors and sidelites across retail, commercial, campus, government, and multi-site portfolios. It is tested to ASTM F3561 to measure repeated impact, tool attack, and time-to-breach as a complete system—film, adhesive, glass, frame, and installation methodology. RiotLite is a delay-focused security layer designed for retrofit deployment, long-term durability, and standard commercial maintenance. It is not bullet-resistant, not a replacement for ballistic or laminated glazing, and not a standalone security strategy, but a critical component of layered physical security.
